Evaluation of tumor tissue to identify patients at risk for having hereditary nonpolyposis colon cancer/Lynch syndrome
The patient should carry the FFPE tissue or block of the Colon. This process is carried out by Gastero Surgeon in the hospital
Recommended test for individuals with a personal and/or family history consistent with Lynch syndrome when documentation of a causative familial variant is not available
The test is performed by IHC technique
There is no risk associated with the test as biopsy will be taken by the trained surgeon in the hospital under anasthesia
